Concerts
Music has always played an important part in the life of the Temple.The two Inns each have their own musical events and societies. Under the auspices of the Temple Music Foundation the Temple Church will continue to offer outstanding concerts and recitals featuring the Temple Church Choir, the Temple Players, and the Church's fine organ,
The annual concert programme includes a Temple Church Choir concert each term together with solo cantata concerts featuring the young professional Choirmen accompanied by the Temple Players, the church's professional baroque ensemble. These performances highlight the gifts of the church's musicians whilst providing a rare opportunity to entertain friends, clients and colleagues, both at a concert and also potentially at a post-concert reception in the Inns' historic and dignified rooms overlooking their gardens.

In addition, the Temple Music Foundation supports music in the Inns and the surrounding area, such as the Temple Song Recitals in the Elizabethan Middle Temple Hall.
Temple Song
A year-long Temple Festival of music, drama, exhibitions, talks is being planned to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the Royal Charter from James I, granting the freehold of the Temple lands to the Inner and Middle Temple.
