Internationally renowned composer and director John Rutter returns to the Temple for an enjoyable day of music making. Whether you are young or old, an experienced chorister or new to choral singing, this come and sing event is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the day singing with others and tackling an interesting selection of music under the kindly and expert guidance of John Rutter in two beautiful historic locations with glorious acoustics.

Information for the day:

Please arrive from 10am at Middle Temple Hall, the singing will start at 11am.

A sandwich lunch will be provided, and we will then move over to Temple Church in the afternoon.

Please allow extra time as some entrances and access points to Middle Temple Hall are closed on a Saturday. To access Middle Temple Hall there are various entry points:

  1. Enter through Tudor Street (close to Blackfriars station) and walk across the courtyard and through the archway tunnel, keep walking straight through the next archway and Middle Temple Hall is on your left.
  2. Enter through the Fleet Street Gate, Middle Temple Lane. This is opposite the junction of Fleet Street and Chancery Lane (this will be open 9.30am-11am only).

Please be aware that the entrance through the gate on the Embankment will be closed (the Fleet Street entrance however is not far from there).

The nearest stations are Blackfriars, City Thameslink or Temple.
