Temple Music, a year-round classical music season, brings world-class musicians to the unique and historic venues of Inner and Middle Temple and the Temple Church. It offers an acclaimed programme of choral and chamber concerts, song recitals, organ recitals and occasional staged performances of dramatic works and operas. Future artists include Eva-Maria Westbroek, Lucy Crowe, Julius Drake, the Busch Trio, the Temple Church Choir, Amy Dickson, Imogen Cooper, Roderick Williams, the Holst Singers and Mark Padmore.
A Temple Music gift voucher gives the recipient the choice of which concert they would like to attend. Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase they can be used in full or part-payment for concert tickets, Circle memberships and shop products.
The first three concerts of the new year are currently available to book. Featuring soprano Eva-Maria Westbroek with Julius Drake, the Choristers of the Temple Church and a concert curated and introduced by John Ashton Thomas with Grammy award-winning saxophonist Amy Dickson, tickets start at just £10.
Available to anyone aged up to 35 years - for just £25/year, membership of the Young Circle gives recipients the opportunity to buy two of the best available tickets, for every concert in our season, for just £5/each.
Like everyone, the classical music industry has found 2020 a particularly difficult year. In March we had to cancel all the remaining concerts of our spring/summer season and, whilst we were lucky enough to present the first two concerts of our autumn season, this obviously had to be done within social distancing guidelines, which greatly restricted the size of the audience. As such our ticket income is much lower than we anticipated this year. Should you wish to give a gift to us this Christmas, by donating to the Temple Music Foundation and helping to secure the future of world-class classical concerts in the unique venues of The Temple, we would be extremely grateful for your generosity.
