A rich and exuberant feast of Baroque music for Advent, culminating in Bach's joyous cantata Wachet Auf. At the heart of the programme is a sequence of vocal works by Heinrich Schütz, Germany's greatest composer before Bach, marking his 350th anniversary. Guest appearances from director Nicholas Mulroy & recorder player Ian Wilson complete the luxurious line-up.
