Following her Royal Opera House debut in Andrea Chénier, Katia Ledoux joins Anna Tilbrook in a programme which centres on the Parisian salons of the 19th century. Recreating the experience of a musical soirée, their recital includes newly-restored, rarely - if ever - performed songs by Donizetti from his years in Paris, as well as songs by some of the women in the milieu of the salons.
Katia Ledoux made her 2022 Opera Rara debut with the London Philharmonic Orchestra in Offenbach’s La Princesse de Trébizonde. The subsequent recording was chosen as Recording of the Year in the 2024 OPER! Awards in Amsterdam. British pianist Anna Tilbrook, collaborates with some of the world’s top musicians, regularly appearing in Europe’s major concert halls and festivals. We are thrilled to welcome these acclaimed artists to the elegant surroundings of Inner Temple's wood-panelled Parliament Chamber.
