Handel Messiah

There are some pieces of music that are as exciting to listen to whether it’s the first or hundredth time you have heard them; Handel’s ever-popular oratorio definitely falls into this category. With its uplifting arias and rousing choruses, it evokes feelings from every extreme of the emotional spectrum, not least the inducement of festivity, as an essential part of the build up to Christmas. Our annual performance welcomes back the outstanding collective voices of Collegium Musicum of London and a line up of exceptional soloists under the baton of Temple Church’s former Assistant Director of Music, Greg Morris.
