Booking is now open for our Autumn/Winter season of concerts. Make the new term a cultural one, and join us at one or more of the 27 exceptional events on offer here between September and February.
Highlights are too many to mention, but the season sees the return of the highly popular Temple Winter Festival, a month-long residency by the outstanding tenor Nick Pritchard, a new venue added to the roster (the magnificent yet intimate Parliament Chamber of Middle Temple), and the culmination of our multi-year journey through the late Mozart Symphonies with London Mozart Players & conductor Geoffrey Paterson in Inner Temple Hall.
Other cherished partnerships which feature in the line-up include Opera Rara (a recital by Argentinean baritone Germán Enrique Alcántara in Opera Rara's acclaimed Salon Series) and Early Opera Company (in Acis and Galatea). Our very own Temple Singers take centre stage in Handel's Dixit Dominus and a handpicked collective of elite chamber musicians, Temple Soloists (including former Temple chorister, violinist Tim Crawford -pictured in front of the great West Door of Temple Church), perform quartets by Mozart and Tchaikovsky.
In September, the renowned ensembles Fretwork and SANSARA come together to mark the 90th birthday of Estonian composer Arvo Pärt, and in November we celebrate the 70th birthday of English composer Ian Venables in a concert centred around the London premiere of 'Out of the Shadows'. Talented young musicians also feature prominently in programme: from Temple Youth Choir's annual concert for Remembrance, to Outcry Ensemble in a sumptuous programme of music for string orchestra, including Pärt's powerful Cantus in Memoriam Benjamin Britten and Vaughan Williams' Tallis Fantasia.
We look forward to welcoming you to this oasis of tranquility over the months ahead. See all forthcoming concerts here.
