Temple Music Foundation (TMF) and Blackstone Chambers are pleased to announce the chambers’ annual sponsorship of the musical charity.
TMF’s corporate sponsors and its circle of individual donors provide the vital support which enables the small charity to present a dynamic series of concerts year-round in spaces across the Temple, London’s historic legal quarter.
News of Blackstone Chambers’ backing comes at an exciting time for TMF, which turns 20 this year. The anniversary is being celebrated with a vibrant programme of over 40 events, from recitals by global stars to entire festivals, as well as specially curated events that reflect the history and heritage of the Inns.
“We are delighted to welcome Blackstone Chambers on board as a sponsor” said Guy Beringer CBE, KC (Hon.), Chairman of TMF. “Their support aids us in our mission to enrich life in the Temple, and to provide inspiring musical experiences to as many people as possible.”
Tom Weisselberg KC, co-Head of Blackstone Chambers said, “Chambers is pleased to be supporting the work of TMF. Music has been a part of the Temple for centuries and we are glad to be nurturing this living tradition for the next generation. We are particularly excited about our forthcoming collaboration with TMF on Purcell’s King Arthur, which will see primary school children from a nearby London borough engaging with this extraordinary music.”
