Temple Music names Robert Ogden as its new Chief Executive

Temple Music Foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of Robert Ogden to the role of Chief Executive. Robert brings weighty arts administration experience, both as Artistic Director since 2009 of the thriving Northern Aldborough Festival – one of the leading classical music festivals in the North of England, and as co-founder of the classical label Landor Records. He is also an accomplished musician: Robert was a choral scholar at King’s College Cambridge, before training at the Royal Northern College of Music and the Netherlands Opera Studio.

The appointment comes at an exciting moment for the Foundation, which has enjoyed significant growth over the last four years under the leadership of Roland Deller. During this time, TMF has programmed busy and varied concert seasons, including several festivals, commissioned world premieres, formed new creative partnerships, brought music to new venues across Inner and Middle, broadened its supporter base and welcomed new audiences to the Temple. As such, TMF’s activities remain a cherished part of life in the Inns, and the Foundation is a distinctive player in London’s cultural scene.

Robert takes on the role in January 2026, and we welcome him warmly to the Temple.
